Belgian fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela is known for his avant-garde style and for the way his collections stand out from the rest.
The elusive Margiela, who prefers to stay out of the public eye, has presented his whimsical haute couture F/W 08/09 collection, which was made up of such recyclable items as plastic bags, balloons, yarn trenches, and retro plastic LP's.
As usual, Margiela’s models remained completely incognito, dressed head to toe in impenetrable black.
