Snapdragon Converts Ink Drawings into Virtual Real Time Designs

In light of this year's Consumer Electronics Show for 2014, wireless technology and innovations company Qualcomm has created a new technology called the Ultra Sound NotePad that converts ink drawings into virtual real time designs. The device allows the easy facilitation of designers and innovators alike to create notes and animations that simultaneously appear virtually on the tablet in real time.

The Snapdragon 805 Processor allows for the transferring of ink written notes from a notepad to a tablet. "Inside the tablet are microscopic microphones that can hear ultrasonic vibrations from the digital pen. The processor then uses this data to figure out what you’re writing even if you’re not touching the screen," says a Qualcomm representative on the innovative tablet.

This device revolutionizes the pain of artists and illustrators in having to tediously transfer their hand drawings onto a virtual online platform.
