Madonna has put her popstar status to good use with the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, giving back to the nation that gave her David, her adopted son. Through her non-profit organization, Raising Malawi, she has raised and partially funded this amazing project.

Designed by New York-based StudioMDA, the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls will be completed in 2012 and will accommodate up to 450 girls.
