Password-Free Security Browsers

Mozilla's Quantum 60.0 is the First to Allow Password-Free Logins

When it comes to Internet browsers there are numerous options, but Mozilla's Firefox Quantum 60.0 is currently the only browser that supports password-free Internet logins. This password-free authentication is made possible by the Web Authentication standard and USB-based security keys such as Yubico's Yubikey. Quantum 60.0 is the first browser to utilize Web Authentication or WebAuthn and is enabled by default in the updated browser.

The use of WebAuthn in browsers extends past utility purposes as it also makes phishing attacks a lot harder. The password-free system also adds a higher level of security for web users as it uses encrypted public and private keys that cannot be stored in a website's database. These keys are essentially fingerprints or faces, which are physically unique and not easily creatable by hackers.
