KFC in China works in collaboration with Shanghai-based pet furniture imprint PURROOM to create a 'popcorn chicken' plush toy for cats. Notably, these designs are 'Kosher for Cats' and it is shaped like popcorn but resemble the look of little chickens.

Every single plush toy is filled with catnip leaves and a bell and the flavored toy will be available for free in addition to the set meals that are ordered in-app or at restaurants in Shanghai for a limited time. The toys also come with an attachment of a fortune cookie to bring in positive wishes for the upcoming year. The assortment highlights yellow and white details with a set of eyes and a small yellow beak.
