After spending 18,000 pounds conducting a series of secret tests to determine the legitimacy of professed psychics, the project was called off.
However, according to the Ministry of Defence this was still a judicious use of taxpayers money since it was a chance to demonstrate their willingness to 'think outside the box' in the war on terror.
