The Prodigy Snacks Vegan Chocolate Bars are Refined Sugar-Free

The new Prodigy Snacks vegan chocolate bars are positioned as a better-for-you alternative to traditional sweets that will offer consumers in the UK a better way to snack.

The bars come in two varieties including Chunky Chocolate Bar and Chunky Orange Chocolate with Baobab Bar, which are both reported to contain 30% of a consumer's daily fiber needs. The prebiotic benefits of the bar are achieved thanks to cacao nibs and raw cacao butter in the mix, while they also contain no gluten or refined sugar.

Founder of Prodigy Snacks Sameer Vaswani spoke on the Prodigy Snacks vegan chocolate bars saying, "Having worked in the biscuit and confectionery industry for over 16 years, I have seen first hand the perils of heavy industrial food processing, the use of synthetic ingredients, the toxicity of refined sugars and the negative environmental impact of plastic packaging. There was a burning gap in the mainstream market for the same indulgent treats but without the damage they cause to our bodies – through ingredients such as artificial sweeteners, colourings and GMOs – and the planet."
