Animated Political Debates

The Simpsons Poke Fun at Presidential Candidates in This Quirky Video

The 2016 presidential candidates have been given a animated makeover thanks to The Simpsons. Redesigned and acting in an entirely new way, this spoof video mocks each and every candidate running for President of the United States.

'The Debateful Eight' video is a politically-charged two minute short that provides comedic relief during the primary season. In the beginning of the humorous video viewers are placed inside of the Simpsons' home where Marge awakens from a political night terror. As Marge hyperventilates over the presidential candidates and their hate for one another, Homer suggests that she imagine a world where all political figures get along.

Though Marge's dream sequence starts with the likes of Jeb Bush, Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump, singing 'How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You),' it doesn't take long before the political gang is verbally and physically assaulting one another.
