Most people know powdered sugar as being plain white and sweet, but DOMECA's powdered sugar flavors explore new territory with cinnamon, strawberry and vanilla.
The food retailer approached designer Izvorka Juric and Motus Vis Ltd. to develop packaging for the powdered sugar line, which is designed to be cute as well as extremely functional. Rather than being packaged in a bag, DOMECA's powdered sugar comes in a tall standing tube, which makes it easy to sprinkle over a baked confection, without the need for additional kitchen equipment like a sifter. By color-coding the tubes, each of the powdered sugars is easy to tell apart, especially since there are different images of baked goods on each one.
