The 'BRCK' is a portable Internet device that allows you to connect to the Internet anywhere in the world.
How many times have you found yourself in the middle of the Amazon jungle and wishing you could Instagram that photo you took of that monkey eating a mango? The BRCK allows people the convenience of Internet connectivity anywhere in the world. To use the BRCK you'll just need to plug in a SIM card, an ethernet cable or get a WiFi connection to connect to the Internet. The product was created by Ushahidi, which is a non-profit company focused on creating open source software.
The portable Internet device synchs with current data from cellular providers at the country your in. It's capable of supporting 20 devices, has WiFi strong enough to cover several rooms and has an eight hour battery backup.
