The Conceptual Polestar Duo by Marcelo Aguiar is Futuristic

The conceptual Polestar Duo has been designed by Chief Automotive Designer at UNITI Sweden Marcelo Aguiar for the Polestar Design Competition as an autonomous solution that would provide support in the event of an emergency.

The drone is incorporated into a modular building that would be carried by the flying robot to its required location where it could provide ground support in the event of a catastrophe. This would work to greatly reduce the occurrence of crews having to manually pilot equipment to the required location in favor of a truly autonomous alternative for enhanced safety and convenience.

The conceptual Polestar Duo could also function as a pop-up structure for temporary accommodation, as an off-grid home and more to make it a truly omni-functional solution.
Trend Themes
1. Autonomous Emergency Drones - The development of autonomous drones for emergency response and support can greatly enhance the safety and convenience of crews responding to disaster situations.
2. Modular Buildings - Modular buildings designed to be carried by drones, like the Polestar Duo, can provide flexible and mobile solutions in emergency response situations.
3. Omni-functional Solutions - Designing autonomous emergency drones that can also function as temporary accommodations or off-grid homes can provide multi-functional solutions for various emergency scenarios.
Industry Implications
1. Drone Manufacturing - The development of autonomous emergency drones creates opportunities for drone manufacturers to create specialized models for emergency response teams.
2. Modular Construction - Modular construction companies can explore designing flexible and mobile structures specifically for emergency response situations.
3. Disaster Response Services - Emergency response services can incorporate autonomous drones to enhance their disaster response capabilities and improve safety for their crews.
