Polestar and Cake Launch a New Sky Blue Electric Moped

Polestar is collaborating with Swedish e-motorbike brand Cake for a new battery-powered moped that will be introduced to the North American market. The Sky Blue exterior color of Cake's limited-edition, customized ‘Makka’ moped was drawn from Polestar's O2 roadster design, which was initially revealed earlier this year. Since the two Swedish businesses initially collaborated in 2021, Polestar and Cake have launched two models. The most recent is this iteration. It boasts two ride modes, a peak speed of 28 mph, and a standout appearance that distinguishes it from other motorcycles with comparable specifications. Its motor has a range of 34 miles and can provide 2.8kW of peak power.

Starting on December 14th, 2022, the Polestar-branded Sky Blue ‘Makka’ will be offered only in specific Polestar markets through the business's Additionals online shop, with a suggested retail price of $5,300.
