Dog-Friendly Zombie Flicks

Play Dead Spotlights the Canine Survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse

Play Dead is without a doubt one of the strangest zombie movies I have ever seen. The film takes place in Miami and features tons of zombies, guns and dogs. Actually, the dogs are the stars in this film, which focuses on what happens to the dogs owned by the survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

In the words of the film's creators, the movie is what would happen if Homeward Bound met the zombie apocalypse. The film is seeking funding via Kickstarter to make the film "big." I don't know what "big" means, but I do know that Play Dead is one of the most original zombie stories I have ever seen. Check out the trailer here and decide for yourself.
