The PlatDePa by Andreu Carulla Studio is Inspired by Catalan Cuisine

The PlatDePa by Andreu Carulla Studio, a design firm based in Girona, Spain, is a great replacement to the traditional serving platter. Taking on the form of bread, the dish is made entirely out of aluminum. Yet that doesn't make it less appetizing. Instead, it provides a great foil for the appetizers that are displayed on it, which is the point of its creation.

Made exclusively for the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, each piece of the PlatDePa by Andreu Carulla Studio is different and unique. This singularity was achieved by using real loaves of bread as models. It is worth noting that when put together, they form a whole loaf of bread. It was inspired by traditional catalan cuisine, specifically the 'pa amb tomata.'
