Ombrella Pizza Cones in Ottawa, Ontario have managed to recreate the pizza slice with its pizza cones and umbrellas.

Owner Giovanni Ottello Erasmo decided to franchise these pizza cones, bringing them over from Italy. The maker bakes fresh cones in the morning and then allows the customer to choose their toppings. Once the cone is full, mozzarella and sauce is put on top and then the entire piece is thrown in the oven to bake. Ombrella has also designed the pizza umbrella, which is essentially the same thing, but features a handle full of mozzarella.

These pizza cones can also come in breakfast and dessert form, with toppings such as apple slices, whipped cream and fresh strawberries. These Ombrella Pizza Cones are definitely an interesting and unconventional take on the traditional pizza dish.
