Record-Breaking Pivoting Doors

Sculp IT Oufits an Antwerp Home with an Impressive Glass Entrance

As though the modern version of a castle entrance, these pivoting doors are touted as the largest in the world to date -- at least when it comes to a private home. Made out of glass, they take the idea of floor-to-ceiling windows to the next level, making the experience of entering a home much more dramatic and breath-taking.

The pivoting doors were designed by Belgian studio Sculp IT. The recently renovated residence is based in Antwerp. Although there are many details that stand out about the renovation, the four ton, six meter high pivoting doors truly takes the cake. Inside, they grant access to the kitchen and a home office. Outside, they extend the home into a modern garden.
