Premium stationery brand Pilot Pen Australia has officially launched a new line of sustainable writing tools called 'Bergreen' range. The new eco-friendly line consists of a variety of stationery items, including gel pens, ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, markers, and more, all of which are made from a minimum of 70% recycled content.
In addition to adhering to the 70% recycled material minimum, some of the items included in the range are made entirely from recycled PET plastic bottles. The company has dubbed this process a "bottle to pen" production method.
"Our commitment to helping to reduce landfill is underpinned by the three guiding principles of ‘reduce,’ ‘refill’ and ‘recycle.’ Refills are available for most of our Begreen pens and markers to reduce plastic consumption and landfill," said John Johnston, marketing manager, Pilot Pen Australia.
