These Pictorial Anti-Smoking Ads Portray Children as Smokers

These pictorial anti-smoking ads feature children who smoke with their parents. A German advertising agency called Jung von Matt has created three print ads about ‘passive smoking’ that aim to raise awareness about the dangers of second-hand smoke with children. These desperate children portrayed are being forced to smoke simply by being near their parents.

One of the ads depicts a boy who says, "I’d love to quit smoking. But my dad won’t let me." The use of children inhaling second hand smoke with their parents makes an emotional impact for those who have the tendency to do this often. These pictorial anti-smoking ads essentially show that children shouldn’t have to suffer being around their parents who smoke constantly. Its an empowering campaign that really captivates and mimics one's self.
