After registering one of the new ".xxx" domain names, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have revealed their intent to launch a salacious adult website that—among other things—draws attention to the daily struggle of animals.
It might seem like an outlandish proposal, particularly since animal activism and human erotica are two professional fields that rarely meet—outside of bestiality, of course. But human-on-animal action won’t be happening, as PETA representative Lindsay Rajt explains that the website will include run-of-the-mill content, "There will be a lot of girl and boy next door content, but we haven’t ruled out celebrities on the site as well."
Although PETA has never been squeamish about nudity, this is certainly a bold, new direction for the animal rights group. Be warned, however, because you may see some gruesome images of abused animals—and that’s the last thing you want to come across while perusing an x-rated website!
