Laundry Machines Turned Into Stomachs

Guerrilla Pepto-Bismol Campaign

This creative guerrilla campaign promotes the heartburn medicine, Pepto-Bismol.

The campaign uses washing machines at laundromats to show the midsection of various people suffering from heartburn pain, with the washing machine window forming their tummy. The image is coupled with the slogan, "No matter what you throw in your stomach, Pink’s got you covered."

I totally love the idea. When I get heartburn, my stomach does feel like its moving around. I imagine sitting in front of these washing machine and seeing this campaign in action would surely drive me to buy Pepto-Bismol, even if I was not suffering from heartburn at the time.

Very well done by Publicis ad agency, New York, USA with creative direction by Rob Feakins and Bertrand Garbassi, photography by Li-han Lin and art direction by Brian Choi.
