Minimalist Translucent Pepper Mills

Nendo's Pepper Pestle Stores and Crushes Dried Peppercorns

The Pepper Pestle by Japanese design studio Nendo is a simplistic kitchenware item designed specifically for Valerie Objects. It does not involve any blades, handles, grinders, rotating components, or additional assemblies, relying solely on its constructed shape. It functions as both a sleek storage unit and a spice crusher, holding dried peppercorn and ready to crush up any spices necessary.

The structure functions as a mortar and pestle, featuring a hallow translucent, slightly frosted glass bottle and finger dimples on the sides to hold. There are also some ridges at the bottom of the piece in order to crush up spices against the resting glass tray. The special bottle also comes with a corkstop so that it can hold all the peppercorns in an airtight manner to promote longer freshness.
