Sausage Gardening Kits

Peas of Heaven is Inviting Fans to Grow Their Own Plant-Based "Sausages"

Vegan food brand Peas of Heaven is giving its community the chance to grow their own "sausages" with gardening kits called The Converter. These kits actually contain a bag of pea seeds, and when the peas are sent back to the brand, they can be exchanged for "home-grown sausages."

These kits for sausage farmers give gardeners a variety of sausages to choose from. While it does take about 50 days for peas to grow, this kit provokes thought about the origins of ingredients, and the resources needed to cultivate them.

With people spending an increased amount of time in their own homes and backyards over the last few years, gardening became a worldwide phenomenon. These branded kits tap into the demand for plant-based foods, all the while giving people the chance to show off their newly acquired skills.
