In an effort to change her image, Paris Hilton announced that she is headed for Rwanda next month to use her celebrity status "for the greater good."
"There are a lot of bad people in L.A.," Hilton told Newsweek Magazine. "Before, my life was about having fun, going to parties -- it was a fantasy," she says of her pre-DUI days. "But when I had time to reflect, I felt empty inside. I want to leave a mark on the world."
Paris will, of course, document the adventure and turn the footage into a commercial film. She claims that the tabloids have given her a bad rap and hopes to make amends.
