Comcast Adds a Parental Control Feature to Its WiFi Networks

Comcast has revealed its new parental control feature that allows parents to set a maximum amount of time a child can spend online. The parental control feature will roll out to the Comcast's Xfinity xFi Wifi dashboard. Once the maximum time has been reached all of the devices that are selected on the child's profile are disconnected.

The feature can be accessed through the xFi page, which is located in the Comcast app. From there the user can select a profile it wishes to limit, and then activate a time limit. Users can set different time limits for weekdays and weekends and customize the hours in which a child can use the internet. Users can make changes to the cotnrol features at any time.
