Online-Only Dictionaries

The Oxford English Dictionary Will No Longer Publish in Print

The Internet has claimed another victim. This time it's the Oxford English Dictionary. The classic dictionary has announced that it will not publish its latest edition; instead, it will only be available online.

The current printed edition is 20 volumes and costs an arm and a leg to purchase. The online Oxford English Dictionary costs $295 and takes up no space at all. While it's sad to see this time-honored dictionary taken out of circulation, in this case it may be for the best.
