Sustainable denim brand Orta Anadolu has announced the launch of The Blueskyer NFT, a digital version of its newly released denim jumpsuit, which is made from 100% regenerative cotton. According to the company, all of the proceeds from its NFT sales will go towards supporting farmers in implementing more eco-friendly agricultural methods.
The NFTs feature a virtual version of the jumpsuit that is shown moving through a colorful fictional environment described by the brand as a "solarpunk-inspired, technorganic future world " In addition, the NFTs features a jazz guitar sound effect, adding a layer of interactivity.
"At Orta, we want to build a regenerative platform—a systems transformation of our denim industry through provocative innovation, open-source technology, and collective action. Only then will we truly achieve a more optimistic and regenerative denim industry of tomorrow," said Sedef Uncu Aki, Orta Anadolu director.
