Design Fusion Homeware

This Origami-Inspired Furniture and Homeware Collection is Stunning

Being an interior decor fanatic -- and being in the midst of moving to a new place -- I can't help but want to own every piece in this origami-inspired furniture and homeware collection.

Designed by brilliant Japanese studio Nendo for the popular Danish furniture brand BoConcept, the super innovative origami-inspired furniture and homeware collection isn't overly modern or hipster shabby chic. It strikes the perfect balance between both with its geometric pattered motif.

The 'Fusion' collection includes 13 pieces -- as well as accessories like cushions, rugs, plates and trays -- and does a great job of fusing the design elements of both Japanese and Danish design.

"Like the collection's name suggests, we wanted to create new functions and visual effects by fusing together two different elements," says Nendo.
