OrganoClick Debuts the OrganoTex Textile Waterproofing

Swedish organization OrganoClick is a sustainable nanocellulose company dedicated to producing environmentally-conscious materials and chemicals. The brand's new product, the 'OrganoTex' textile waterproofing, is a biobased, biodegradable, and eco-labeled material created using plant fatty acids and leaves' surface structures. The material will be primarily used to prevent spills and leaks in packaged food products.

"After more than four years of research and development work, we can finally present this breakthrough in textile impregnation. A product that both combines high performance and at the same time is biobased, plastic-free and biodegradable and, of course, PFAS-free. This innovation is fully in line with OrganoClick’s overall mission to accelerate the phasing out of plastics and fossil chemicals towards our overall vision of a nature free of plastics and toxic chemicals," said Mårten Hellberg, CEO OrganoClick
