The open air hotel room is in the middle of the Swiss Alps and is 6,463 feet above sea level. The room consists of nothing but a stone platform on which a queen sized bed, floating bedside tables and two stools sit. The hotel room does not have a ceiling nor does it have walls, providing optimal views of the night time sky and the beautiful scenic mountains during the day. The hotel has a service in which a butler delivers the guests breakfast in bed and a public bathroom is a 10 minute walk from the room.
This hotel concept is a unique one and not one that everyone would enjoy, but its ability to provide some of the best views in the world in such a unique way makes it something worth trying.
