'Ootbox' Allows Professionals to Rent a Movable Outdoor Office Space

'Ootbox' is a startup founded in 2020 by Robbie Friedman who had the idea of giving individuals a means to have a private working space. While the idea was not born from the pandemic, the development of the project was accelerated by it. Now, the company is live and customers are permitted to rent Ootboxes.

The Ootbox is a small, portable office space made out of a cut-up shipping container. The Ootbox has insulated walls, window space, a built-in heater, and the means to run electric power into it, whether through a line or a generator. Professionals can rent an Ootbox to be placed in their backyard, their driveway, or any other outdoor space where they feel a secluded home office is required.

Customers can rent an Ootbox at prices that begin at $1,000 per month. However, it is important to note that there is a four-month minimum rental period for one Ootbox.
