Workplace Indicator Lights

The Luxafor Office Light Serves as a 'Do Not Disturb' for Open Offices

In an open office environment without partitions, it's not always easy to shut out distractions, but this is where the Luxafor office light comes in. The LED light is designed to be mounted atop a computer monitor, in order to display different colored lights, as chosen by a user on-screen.

While a green light indicates that you're available, on the other side of the spectrum, read means "do not disturb." Other modes include 'Active Mode,' which can be enabled to indicate that the user has an incoming emails, upcoming events on their calendar or any other messages. For more advanced users, there's also the option to customize the experience as needed. Luxafor's developer, Greynut, has created two prototypes so far—one that runs through a USB and another that uses a rechargeable battery to run.

Aiming to raise $42,000, Luxafor is now crowdfunding on Kickstarter.
