Big Potato's MOOP Label Shares Products Made of Ocean Plastic

MOOP (Made of Ocean Plastic) is a new label from Big Potato that helps to put ocean waste to good use in the form of products like ocean plastic playing cards. The environmentally friendly playing cards were created with the aid of Waste2Wear over the course of 16 months.

Made from 100% recycled plastic (30% of which is recycled ocean plastic,) the playing cards are waterproof, tearproof and durable. Each pack shares a QR code that can be scanned to reveal where the materials were collected from to create that specific pack—and this is made possible thanks to Waste2Wear’s blockchain technology.

Already, the initial batch of playing cards has sold out and a full-scale release from MOOP is planned for next spring and summer.
