Vaulot & Dyèvre have designed a "chaotic" obstructed office desk called Ofício. The white desk is quite minimal but was inspired by the chaos that is at the start of the creative process.
First, you have a bunch of ideas, thoughts, words etc. that are in your head (the geometric protruding part of the desk,) then your plan making allows room for your creativity to grow (the middle of the table) and then you come up with a steady foundation or end product (the horizontal end of the table.)
This table is not only a depiction of the creative process, but it allows you to create your own projects when sitting at it. The designers made the desk big enough to fit all of your creativity. They explained that the protruding part, which also has a metallic netted compartment underneath, is for all the beginning raw materials and the "flat and ergonomic" middle is an ideal surface for a computer. The last side of the table invites you to share the results. Again, every concept and thought put into this desk, coincides with the creative process.
