Doctoring Photo Ops

Obama's Press Conference Houses a Potentially Misleading Photo Op

150 Doctors representing 50 states descended on the White House yesterday in response to President Obama’s request to rally support for his new healthcare plan. While no new details were discussed during the gathering, the mass of white lab coat-wearing doctors gave the impression that America’s doctors support his plan, or that Obama can call on them instantly and at anytime.

Although each of the attendees were asked to dress in their own white lab coats for the event, several doctors who showed up in business suits had to change into white lab coats that were provided for them on site before the press conference could begin.
