Notes From Peru is a photo series, put together by San Francisco-based photographer Brian Flaherty, that pays tribute to the land and the generations of life -- not just people but animals and other forms of life as well. The photos were of course captured in modern-day Peru, but the great thing is that the photos capture the same classic and unbreakable spirit associated with a simpler time.
The photo series does a great job capturing the sense of community. Some of the photos capture a group of twenty or so women building a family's house, and the sense of togetherness and selflessness is very evident in the photos.
Ultimately, the Notes From Peru photo series is a tribute to the land and the people who helped shape it.
