HMD Announced Three New Nokia Phones as Eco-Friendly Options

HMD announced a new series of three smartphones today, notably including the 'Nokia X30 5G,' which HMD purports to be the most eco-friendly smartphone on the market. HMD achieves the eco-friendliness of the X30 5G by using 100% recycled aluminum for the frame, 65% recycled plastic for the panels, and 70% recycled paper in the packaging. Additionally, Nokia offers customers the ability to rent their phone on a monthly basis, where the phone can be returned to the company at the end of the rental period where it will be recycled. HMD calls this the 'Circular Subscription,' playing into the eco-friendly nature of circularity.

The other two phones announced by HMD today are the 'Nokia G60 5G' and the 'Nokia C31.' The C31 is an ultra-affordable smartphone that boasts battery life as its most attractive feature. The C31 features the efficient 'Unisoc 9863A1' processor and a 5,050mAh battery that results in a reliable three-day battery life. Lastly, the G60 is a mid-range phone with a 120Hz display powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor.
