The NikeLab x JFS women's training collection features the use of modular capsule shapes designed to bring versatility and further optimize the female body in motion. The collection is the result of a partnership between Nike Women and Berlin-based designer Johanna Schneider.
For this collection, Schneider interprets athletic clothing as personal architecture that consists of a foundation that athletes can adapt and manipulate to their individual desires and preferences.
The pieces in the Nike Lab x JFS collection make liberal use of Nike's expertise with innovation application, as best exemplified by the placement of laser-cut patterns for breathability and the use of lightweight bonded finishes.
Schneider chose organic colors for the collection, as she wanted to put together a "sophisticated selection that looks pleasant against different skin tones."
