Wood-Finished Skate Shoes

The Nike SB Woodgrain is a Faux-Wood Wonder

When most people think of wooden shoes, they think of clogs. Nike is set to change all of that with the release of the Nike SB Woodgrain. The new shoe from Nike SB team member Stefan Janoski is inspired by all things wood and features a brown colorway and cork sockliners.

Wood on shoes doesn't sound like the most attractive thing in the world, but Nike has made it work here. The brown colorway and matching laces manage to actually look like wood as opposed to chocolate, and the cork sockliners and the included dustbag really help pull the entire package together. The Nike SB Woodgrain has been released to select retailers across the U.S. and should be in shops sometime soon.
