Blinged-Out Weaponry

Nicola Bolla's Gun is Studded with Swarovski Crystals

Renowned Italian designer and sculptor Nicola Bolla created this ultra luxurious crystal studded sculpture, one which was the center of attention at Milan Design Week, 2011.

The artist presented a total of fifteen unique and glamorous sculptures including skulls, a ribcage, thighbones, chests and above all, the stunning AK47 assault rifle. The entire AK47 assault rifle has been made using Swarovski crystals, making it an elegant piece of weaponry. He also studded the human remains with crystals and entitled his artwork as Ossuary, which means a burial place for those who died a violent death.

Nicola Bolla’s art installation might seem disturbing and unusual, but his unique artwork has undeniably taken contemporary art to a whole new level.
