New Seven Wonders of the World Named

Oops, They Forgot the Pyramids

This was a nice idea, but I really have to agree with the Egyptians' indignation at the absence of the pyramids the only survivor of the original seven wonders. Scholars continue to debate how they were made.
Anyway, congratulations to the new Seven Wonders, I'm sure they are awesome. I have been to one of them, Petra in Jordan and it is breathtaking. Nobody forgets their first glimpse (see Gallery) of the Treasury from the Siq (the narrow red sandstone canyon leading to Petra). I hope to see the rest of them someday.
