The New Ford GT Has the Most Powerful EcoBoost Production Engine Ever

One of the undisputed highlights of the Detroit Auto Show was the unveiling of the new Ford GT, which has been vastly upgraded and improved.

The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine capable of pumping out more than 600 horsepower. This engine uses dual fuel-injection and is hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

It is ultra lightweight thanks to the use of carbon fiber composite construction which makes for a car that is lightweight yet hardy.

The new Ford GT's display is also ultra-futuristic, and includes a stalkless steering column that gives drivers easy and uncluttered access to the paddle-shift controls. A fully digitized instrument menu gives drivers all the data they need, while the display can be configured to optimize for driving environment and different driving modes.
