Theater-Inspired Chandeliers

Lasvit's Neverending Glory Collection Takes Cues from Theater Lights

Design label Lasvit joied forces with designers Henry Wielgus and Jan Plecháč to design the Neverending Glory collection. The collection is comprised of redesigned chandeliers found in some of the most famous theaters in the world. The Neverending Glory collection includes a series of light pendants based on lights found in Milan's La Scala theater, Paris' Palais Garnier, New York's Metropolitan Opera theater, Prague's Estate theater and Moscow's Bolshoi theater.

Lasvit's glassmakers scaled back every single piece so that they would fit the mold of contemporary interior designs. Wielgus expresses that the idea was born out of the concept that it would simply be a shame if these beautiful old crystal chandeliers were to be confined only in these theaters, so the collection modernizes the lights for modern homes. The Neverending Glory collection offers five chandelier lights in white, opal, iridescent and smoky hues.
