NEO WTR Comes in a 100% Prevent Ocean Plastic Bottle

NEO WTR has been launched by Brookfield Drinks in the UK as a sustainability-focused bottled water that will help to keep plastic out of the oceans.

The water comes in a 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic bottle with a recyclable cap and label, and features the equivalent of 1.7 plastic bottles in every 500ml bottle. The water itself is Somerset-sourced spring water that's bottled in the UK and will make its debut on the market at Tesco Superstores in June in the soft drink aisle.

Managing Director Nigel McNally spoke further on NEO WTR saying, "We’ve worked incredibly hard to bring this extremely worthwhile product to market. NEO WTR is a first for the category and a massive advancement in packaging for soft drinks. Our 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic bottle, with its recyclable cap and label, offers an environmentally positive option that actively tackles the growing problem of ocean plastic."
