The Takt Dye It Yourself Tables Encourage Consumers to Customize the Design

Japanese design brand Takt recently put together a series of table designs that encourage the consumer to involved in the creation with a natural tie-dye kit. Consumers can personalize the look of the tiny plastic stool tables using fresh tint colors extracted using natural foods and minerals.

The Dye It Yourself line of tables are a collaborative project between both the Takt brand and the consumer. Takt provides the white three-leg tables to the consumer along with a selection of natural dies made from products such as safflower, indigo and cherry blossom to achieve brightly colored tints. The consumer is then invited to tie-dye the table with the colors and create a vibrant pastel pattern suited to their liking.
