Optimistic Paint Colors

'Natural Optimism' was Created by Twinings Infusions and Pantone

For most people today — both in the UK and around the world — times feel tough, and the new 'Natural Optimism' paint color is designed to help bring people out of their incessant slump. The color, which was created by Twinings Infusions in collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute, reminds Brits of the simple pleasures.

According to research, two thirds of Brits report that unsettling global events have left them feeling less optimistic about life as a whole. A result of this seeping pessimism is that Brits opt for darker colors, with nearly a third of them admitting to wearing dark clothing when they feel less optimistic.

To restore some optimism to the UK, Twinings Infusions worked with the Pantone Color Institute to create Natural Optimism, a cheery blue color based off of the sky and blooming flowers (sights that over half of Brits say make them feel most optimistic.)
