Chipotle is Giving Out Free Guacamole for National Avocado Day

In honor of National Avocado Day on July 31st, Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced it's giving away free guac on any entrée purchased in Chipotle's app or on chipotle.com. The avocado giveaway will also feature a number of iHeartRadio on-air personalities that will visit Chipotle restaurants to learn how to prepare fresh guac behind the line. Some notable attendees include Skeery Jones and Alex Gervasi.

The company is also promoting a TikTok challenge called #GuacDance that starts on Friday, July 26. The #GuacDance challenge asks participants to show off avocado-themed dance moves to viral sensation, Dr. Jean's guac song. This is the second partnership Chipotle has had wit TikTok, the first being the #ChipotleLidFlip challenge this past May.

This online-based promotion is expected to boost consumers' use of Chipotle's app and website for a more autonomous checkout process.
