Rugs51 is Releasing a 'My World' Pop Culture Rug Collection in Late June

TZ Wang, founder and lead designer of Rugs51, imagines home fashion for a streetwear audience, incorporating motifs from sports culture and street style into pieces from the new ‘My World’ line. The range of bespoke floor rugs is inspired by pop culture. Previous designs include the ‘Space Neko Rug,’ ‘Cosmo Dragon Rug,’ and the ‘Fire Sneaker Rug’ for sneaker lovers. ‘My World’ dwells on lighthearted imagery, borrowing inspiration from sports, Asian culture, pantry, and closet necessities.

Wang commented on the forthcoming collection, musing: "As a designer who is proud to be quirky and different, I found that there were limited options for original-designed rugs to go with my posters, sneakers, and toy collections." The collection is now available on the Rugs51 website.
