The 'My Body My Rights' Campaign Features Hyperrealistic Body Art

Amnesty International teamed up with artist Hikaru Cho to launch the 'My Body My Rights' campaign.

The Tokyo-based artist created a series of body art illustrating sexual and bodily rights that are routinely denied or infringed upon all over the world. Cho explains, "You have the right to choose who you love and what kind of family you want and to live free from rape and sexual violence." With this campaign, she is aiming to contribute to a global conversation about reproductive rights, gender discrimination and sexual abuse.

The campaign is a unique and powerful way to not only spread a message, but encourage a dialogue about sensitive issues that have been underrepresented or flat-out ignored.
