Music-Infused Beers

B&O Play is Using Curated Soundtracks and Speakers to Ferment Beer

Danish audio company B&O Play is making music-infused beer to explore whether or not music can impact the taste of a brew. B&O Play collaborated with Danish musician Le Gammeltoft to create a specially curated playlist to investigate whether or not music can impact how beer tastes. The company submerged an iPod Nano into the fermenting tank and the music is allegedly taking the beer to the next level with vibrations that are encouraging the yeasts to, "produce more flavorful esters," -- the final result has been dubbed the Beobrew.

From aiding in the development of beef cows, to improving the growth of plants, music has been scientifically proven to have a positive and lasting impact on those who indulge in it. This novelty beer would speak to craft brew enthusiasts and lovers of one-of-a-kind novelty products alike.
