Rugged Hike-Ready Footwear

Mountain Research Joins Reebok on a Collaborative Silhouette

Japanese technical outerwear label Mountain Research works in collaboration with sportswear brand Reebok on a deconstructed iteration of the latter's DMX Trail Shadow sneaker model. The upper boasts a layering construction and it sits on top of a thick midsole foundation. The sneakers are set for hiking purposes but with the incorporation of Mountain Research's expertise, it is more versatile.

The colorway is a tan tonal palette and features a blend of mesh and synthetics over the full nubuck upper. There are also embossed detailing and reflective weldings as well. The cage construction is inspired by crampon and features no embellishments at the platform for a sleek finish. The Vector logo has been updated with perforations instead of the traditional printed textures.
